Overview

This section on WordPress Intgegration is designed to help WordPress builders and designers connect AreteX™ eCommerce services to your WordPress site. You will need some input from the business owner.

Shortcodes & Widget - AreteX™ makes extensive use of WordPress shortcodes to connect your eCommerce services to your web site's front end. There is also an AreteX™ Coupon Widget. The Shortcodes and Widget tab explains their use.

Roles & Capabilies - This tab explains how AreteX™ makes use of WordPress roles and capablities for 1) internal use and 2) paid membership managment. Everything dealing with Roles and Capapbilites is managed through the WordPress admin panel. This section explains the linkage between AreteX™ and your WordPress site.

Forms and Customization - This where you set up the "look and feel" of your receipts, payment forms, and customer emails. The information in this tab is for the WordPress design professional. It will require important input from the business owner. The section explains how to customize the stylesheets AreteX™ uses for customer facing forms and notifications. It has stylesheet templates, a Welcome Email template, and extensive Help and Information tabs.

PTR Integration -This is where you set your WordPress configuration settings for your payees' (contributors' and referrers') Payment Tracking and Reporting screens. (There are extensive instructions and help screens to explain integration impacts.) This is also where you match your tracking URL with your WordPress Permalink structure.
