Once you have claimed your site, you can edit your alexa.com site listing. If you have an Alexa Pro subscription for your Wordpress site, this plugin makes it easy to add the Certify Code. To learn more about Certification and Alexa Pro, visit http://www.alexa.com/plans == Installation == To claim your site: 1. Upload the Official Alexa Wordpress Plugin to your site. 2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress. 3. Visit http://www.alexa.com/siteowners/claim and enter your site's URL. 4. Select Method 2 on the Claim Your Site page to get the verification ID. 5. Enter your Alexa verification ID into the plugin and press Update. 6. Press "Verify my ID" on alexa.com. Note that if you certify, your site is already claimed and you do not need to use the claim steps. To certify your site's metrics: 1. Upload the Official Alexa Wordpress Plugin to your site. 2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress 3. Visit http://www.alexa.com/account/sitesettings and click the "Certification Status" link. 4. Copy the Certify Code and paste it into the plugin. 5. Press Update. 6.
