Advertwhirl the ultimate wordpress advertising campaign manager wordpress.  Control exactly which ads are displayed and how.

== Description ==

Advertwhirl (pronounced Adver-twhirl) is a wordpress plugin that lets you set up advertising campaigns for your site.  Ads can be allocated based on weight, percent or a mix.  The displayed ad allocation is picked by user configurable rules.  Advertwhirl integrates with Adsense download both your reports and your ad units.  Integration of Google Analytics and Commision Junction are coming soon.  Ads can be accessed in three ways.  Advertwhirl development and support are ad sponsored.

1) via short code [advertwhirl campaign=your_campaign] in posts and pages

2) via php function in theme template files, advertwhirl_get_ad($campaign);

3) via permalink for controlling your ads on external sites.  Great for guest blogging.  http://www.yoursite.com/ads/yourcampaign

== Installation ==

1. Upload `Advertwhirl.php` to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Go to the Virtual Theme administration panel to setup your campaigns

= Is Advertwhirl open source? =

Yes.  All plugins in the wordpress plugin directory are required to have a GPL V2 compatible license.  Advertwhirl is licensed under the GPLv2

= Is Advertwhirl free? =

Sort of.  You can download, install and use Advertwhirl free of charge with no limits.  However, Advertwhirl is ad sponsored.  That for every 20 ads it serves up for you site it will serve 1 of its own.

= Is there a version available which contains no sponsored ads?
